Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia , roasted in Sweden by Johan & Nyström . Light roast , perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, and other pour-over brewing methods. A fresh and intense coffee with floral and elegant flavours of white currants and peach.

We are thrilled to once again offer a washed coffee from the renowned Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia!Ethiopia Haru is a fresh and intense coffee with floral and elegant flavours of white currants and peach.

The Haru washing station has been operated by the Berhanu family since 2014. Here, coffee is processed for about 2000 small-scale farmers, each of whom cultivates coffee on lands averaging half a hectare. The coffee cherries are harvested by experienced hands, selecting only the perfectly ripe cherries.

However, to address any occasional oversight of unripe or defective cherries, a secondary sorting is conducted at the washing station. Afterward, the pulp is removed, and the coffee beans are washed clean before finally drying in the sun on drying tables.

This Specialty Coffee is traceable, ethical and sustainable and has been selected by the CoffeeNose for it’s good price/quality.
